Human Chain in Front of BIRDEM Hospital, Demanding Job Reinstatement.

Dhaka City Correspondent. A group of dismissed employees staged a human chain in front of BIRDEM Hospital in the capital, demanding the reinstatement of their jobs. Participants in the human chain alleged that they were terminated from their jobs for various reasons. They claimed that they were dismissed without following proper procedures, which has left them and their families in financial and social crisis. The protesters also alleged irregularities and nepotism in the hospital’s recruitment process. They called for a neutral investigation into these allegations, the reinstatement of the dismissed employees, and the establishment of a transparent and accountable recruitment system in the future. Speakers at the human chain said that after serving for a long time, many have now fallen into livelihood insecurity after losing their jobs.They drew the attention of the concerned authorities and demanded a prompt investigation and a fair resolution of the matter. However, no immediate statement was available from the BIRDEM Hospital authorities regarding the allegations raised at the human chain.
