July Uprising Day celebrated in Pirojpur with various arrangements.

Pirojpur Correspondent. Various programs are being celebrated in Pirojpur since morning on the occasion of July Uprising Day. Today, Wednesday at 9:30 am, wreaths were laid at the July Martyr Memorial located in the central Shaheed Minar square of the district town. At this time, State Minister for Housing and Public Works Ministry Ahmed Sohel Manjur, Reserved Member of Parliament Sultana Jasmine Jui, Deputy Commissioner Abu Sayeed, Superintendent of Police Manjur Ahmed Siddiqui, District Council Administrator Principal Alamgir Hossain, Pirojpur Press Club, District BNP, District Jamaat, District Information Office along with various government and non-government departments, socio-cultural organizations and people from different classes and professions paid tribute to the martyrs. Later, at 11 am, a reception was given to the family members of the July martyrs and July warriors at the Shaheed Omar Faruk Auditorium of Sadar Upazila Parishad. At the same time, a discussion meeting was held highlighting the significance of the day. The speakers present expressed their determination to build a non-discriminatory, democratic and humane Bangladesh by embracing the spirit of July.
