July Mass Uprising Day Observed in Feni with Respect and Tributes.

Jahangir Alam, Staff Reporter, July Mass Uprising Day was observed in Feni on the historic 5th of August with deep respect, commemorating the extraordinary sacrifices of the anti-discrimination student-mass movement and honoring the memory of the martyrs. ​On this occasion, Feni District Commissioner and Learned District Magistrate, Ms. Monira Haque, paid rich tributes to the martyrs by placing a floral wreath at the July Memorial Monument in Feni on behalf of the district administration. ​A moment of silence was observed during the wreath-laying ceremony, followed by a special prayer (Munajat) seeking the eternal peace of the departed souls of the martyrs and the speedy recovery of those injured. ​Speaking at the event, District Commissioner Monira Haque stated, "The July Mass Uprising is an integral part of our history and spirit. The heroic sacrifice of the students and general public inspires us to build a new Bangladesh." ​Senior officials from the district administration and various government departments, local dignitaries, and journalists from print and electronic media were present at the event.
