Bangladesh Mofsal Journalists Society Dhaka Metropolitan (North) Committee Approval

Staff Correspondent. Dhaka, August 7, 2026, Friday: The Dhaka Metropolitan (North) Committee-2026-2027 of Bangladesh Mofsal Journalists Society has been approved. The 31-member committee was approved by the organization's central office for the next one year on Friday. Asian TV staff reporter Farid Ahmed Nayan has been appointed as the president of the approved committee and Dainik Banglar Kantha staff reporter Syed Idris Ali has been appointed as the general secretary. The organization informed that the committee has been formed with the aim of uniting the mofsal journalists of Dhaka Metropolitan North area, enhancing their professional skills, protecting the rights and interests of journalists, and making the organization's activities more dynamic. It is hoped that the leaders of the newly formed committee will perform their duties according to the organization's policies for the next one year and undertake various activities for the welfare of journalists. The Dhaka Metropolitan (North) Committee was approved through an approval letter signed by the founder and chairman of Bangladesh Mofusal Journalists Society, Khandaker Achifur Rahman, and Secretary General Md. Chagir Ahmed. Leaders at various levels of the organization congratulated the 31 members, including the president and general secretary, of the new committee. They expressed hope that mutual cooperation and professional unity among journalists in Dhaka Metropolitan North will be further strengthened under the leadership of the newly formed committee.
