Dr. Ziauddin Haider, Prime Minister’s Special Assistant, Inspects Feni General Hospital.

Jahangir Alam, ​Staff Reporter. ​Dr. S.M. Ziauddin Haider, the Prime Minister's Special Assistant for Health Affairs (holding the rank of State Minister), paid a brief visit to the Feni 250-bed General Hospital on Wednesday, August 12, to review the overall healthcare scenario and modern medical services. During the inspection, he expressed satisfaction with the hospital's service standards while providing urgent directives to make local healthcare more dynamic and advanced. ​Earlier, upon his arrival at the Feni Circuit House, the Special Assistant was warmly welcomed with floral greetings by Dr. A.S.M. Sohrab Al Hossain, Acting Civil Surgeon of Feni District, and the Acting Superintendent of the 250-bed General Hospital. ​Subsequently, the Honorable State Minister visited the 250-bed General Hospital. He toured the general wards as well as modern medical centers including the Dialysis Unit, Special Care Newborn Unit (SCANU), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and High Dependency Unit (HDU). During the inspection, he interacted with admitted patients and their attendants to verify the quality of services. ​Following the tour, Dr. Ziauddin Haider participated in an urgent exchange meeting with hospital officials. Emphasizing the delivery of quality healthcare to the doorstep of the general people in the Feni district, he issued necessary guidelines to the officials and physicians.
