8,000 Saplings Distributed in Mirsarai Under Krishak Dal Initiative.

Jwel Nag, Mirsarai, Chattogram A total of 8,000 tree saplings were distributed in Mirsarai, Chattogram, under an initiative of the Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Krishak Dal, with the slogan, “Let us make Mirsarai green and build farmers’ dreams for a prosperous Bangladesh.” The sapling distribution programme was held on Wednesday afternoon in the Sonapahar area of Baraiyarhat Municipality. Member of Parliament for Chattogram-1 (Mirsarai) constituency, Nurul Amin, attended the programme as the chief guest. The event was presided over by Mirsarai Upazila Krishak Dal President Md. Ashraf Uddin and conducted by its General Secretary Md. Saiful Islam Faruk. Former Member Secretary of the Upazila BNP, Gazi Nizam Uddin, addressed the programme as a special guest. A total of 8,000 tree saplings were distributed among residents across the upazila’s 16 unions. Speaking as the chief guest, MP Nurul Amin said saplings were being distributed in villages across Mirsarai as part of a nationwide tree-planting programme aimed at making the area greener. He urged the recipients to plant the saplings and take proper care of them, saying, “Every tree sapling is like a child. You must nurture it with care.
