Tourist Presence Drops at Coxs Bazar Sea Beach Due to Bad Weather.

Cox's Bazar, Correspondent Due to continuous bad weather and rough seas, the number of tourists at Cox's Bazar Sea Beach, the country's main tourist city, has dropped significantly. Visits to various points of the beach since Thursday morning showed that tourist numbers are much lower compared to normal times. Only a few tourists were seen at Laboni, Sugandha and Kolatoli points, while bookings at most hotels and motels have also declined. Tourist Police and lifeguards are using loudspeakers to warn tourists not to enter the sea. Hotel owners said the crowd will increase again once the weather returns to normal. The Cox's Bazar Weather Office reported that due to the low-pressure system, rain and gusty winds may continue for another 2-3 days.
