Free Eye Treatment Camp Held in Faridpur.

Biplab Kumar Das, Staff Reporter. A day-long free eye treatment camp has been held in the Kaijuri Union of Faridpur Sadar Upazila. This camp was organised on Friday (11 September) from 10 am to 4 pm at the premises of 'Nil Shopno Pre-Cadet and High School' in the Akain area of Ward 6 of the union. The medical service was provided under the auspices of the 10 No. Kaijuri Union BNP and 'Lions Club of Dhaka Sugandha, District 315 A-1, Bangladesh'. The camp was inaugurated by the Member of Parliament for Faridpur-3, Chowdhury Nayab Yusuf. In his inaugural speech, MP Chowdhury Nayab Yusuf expressed hope for the success of this initiative, stating, "Through such humanitarian service activities, many poor and helpless people in the area will receive free eye treatment services." At this time, he expressed gratitude to the general public for electing him in the last national parliamentary election and sought everyone's cooperation for the overall development of the area in the future. Throughout the day, local underprivileged and general people were provided with free eye examinations, medical services, and necessary health advice at this camp. A large number of patients from the area received treatment during this service-oriented event. Local BNP leaders and prominent individuals from the area were present at the event.
