BD Care Foundation tree plantation and sapling distribution in Amtoli.

Amtoli (Barguna) Correspondent. A tree plantation and sapling distribution program has been held in Amtoli, Barguna, with the aim of protecting the balance of the environment and making it green. The official journey of the social and humanitarian organization BD Care Foundation has begun through this program. The program was held at 10 am on Thursday in the Amtoli Upazila Parishad premises in cooperation with the upazila administration. Upazila Executive Officer Hasan Md. Hafizur Rahman inaugurated the program. BD Care Foundation President Md. Monirul Islam presided over the program and the organization's General Secretary Md. Mehedi Hasan moderated the program. Former Municipal BNP Convener Md. Kabir Fakir, Member Secretary Md. Jalal Khan, Upazila Senior Fisheries Officer Tanmoy Kumar, Upazila Forest Officer Md. Monirul Haque, former Upazila Public Rights Council Convener Md. Saidir Rahman, members of the organization and people from different classes and professions were present. The speakers said that there is no alternative to planting trees to combat the adverse effects of climate change and maintain the balance of the environment. Not only planting trees, everyone should be responsible for the regular care and conservation of the planted trees. Upazila Executive Officer Hasan Md. Hafizur Rahman said that the participation of social organizations along with government initiatives in protecting the environment is important. The journey of an organization starting through human welfare and environmental protection activities carries a positive message. Later, tree plantation was done at various places including the Upazila Parishad premises and saplings of different species of trees were distributed among the locals. The organizers said that in the future, BD Care Foundation will be by the side of the people by conducting various social and public welfare activities along with environmental protection.
