SRB-6 Arrests Two Main Accused in Sensational Ahad Murder Case in Rampal, Bagerhat Within 24 Hours.

Masum Hawlader, Bagerhat. In the sensational Sheikh Ahad murder case in Rampal, Bagerhat, SRB-6 has arrested accused No. 1 and No. 2 named in the FIR within 24 hours. SRB Forces has been playing a leading role in arresting accused in regular cases including convicts with various terms and warrant-listed accused, armed terrorists and drug dealers, and bringing to justice criminals involved in various sensational murders and rapes. According to SRB sources, in continuation of this, on Tuesday (22 September) at 3:30 AM, an elite operational team of SRB-6, Sadar Company, conducted a special operation in Laripara area under Phultala Police Station of Khulna district and arrested accused No. 1 and No. 2 named in the FIR of the sensational murder case of Sheikh Ahad Ahmed Itu (23) of Bagerhat. The arrested accused are Baki Billah Sheikh (47) and Masum Billah Sheikh (52), both fathers, Jafar Sheikh, Village, Kismat Chanditola, Police Station, Rampal, District, Bagerhat. According to the FIR of the case, there has been a long-standing dispute between the accused party and the plaintiff party over fish enclosures and homestead land. In continuation of this, on 20 September 2026, the arrested accused along with other FIR-named and unknown accused came on the brick soling road in front of the plaintiff's house in Chanditala village under Rampal Police Station and abused the plaintiff's father by mentioning his name. When the plaintiff's younger brother Sheikh Ahad Ahmed came out of the house and reached the brick soling road, they indiscriminately hit him on various parts of his body, leaving him bloody and seriously injured, and fled. With the help of local people, the victim was taken to Rampal Upazila Health Complex, where the doctor on duty declared the victim dead. In this incident, the victim's brother Sheikh Rahat filed a murder case at Rampal Police Station as plaintiff. For further legal action, the accused have been handed over to Rampal Police Station in Bagerhat district. The operation of the SRB Force is ongoing to bring the remaining accused under the law.
