Allegation of Harassment Through False Case Against Joynal Abdin in Mirsharai. Claims of Intimidating Witnesses and Attempted Abduction.

In Mirsharai, Chattogram, an allegation has been raised that a man named Joynal Abdin is being harassed with a false case, and the witnesses of the case are being intimidated and an attempt was made to abduct them. Raising these allegations, victim Joynal Abdin held a press conference on Tuesday demanding a fair investigation, implementation of the court's order, and legal action. In the press conference, Joynal Abdin alleged that the opponent is his own younger brother Alauddin. He claims that after he filed a case against Alauddin, a counter false case was filed against him to escape from that case. Joynal Abdin said that the responsibility for investigating that case came to SI Ibrahim of Mirsharai Police Station. Regarding the investigation, yesterday evening at around 5 pm, he went to Mirsharai Police Station with two witnesses. Later, while coming out of the police station, Alauddin and several others abused his witnesses in filthy language and intimidated them, he alleged. He also claimed in the press conference that at one point an attempt was made to abduct his witnesses. He said that he and his witnesses are in a state of insecurity due to this incident. When asked about the allegation over mobile phone, SI Ibrahim of Mirsarai Police Station told reporters that he was praying when Alauddin was abusing. He said he does not know anything about abduction or scuffle. He also said he is not aware of whether there is any arrest warrant against Alauddin. Meanwhile, Joynal Abdin claimed that he filed a case in court against Alauddin for cutting down his hilly trees worth 7 lakh taka, case No. CR 457/25. According to him, the PBI investigated the case and presented information and evidence to the court. Later, the court issued an arrest warrant against Alauddin, he claimed. However, he also alleged that he has not been arrested yet. In the press conference Joynal Abdin said, "I don't want any revenge, I want proper application of law and justice. Let there be an impartial investigation of the case filed against me and proper implementation of the court's order." He further said that those who have allegedly intimidated or attempted to abduct the witnesses of his case should also be investigated and necessary legal action will be taken through law. Through the press conference, Joynal Abdin demanded from the law enforcement agencies and the concerned authorities to investigate the complaints impartially to unearth the real incident, implement the court's order, and take legal action against the real culprits.
