Strong Protest Against the News Published in Daily Nababani.

Badal Khandaker, Sarail. B.Baria. On Wednesday, September 23, 2025, a news report titled "Youth attacked by organized group for protesting extramarital affair, allegation of death threat" published in the Daily Nababani newspaper has come to our attention. The published news is completely false, fabricated, baseless and motivated. We strongly protest and condemn this false news. I am Mst. Shiuly Begum (30), husband - Chabbir Rashid, Village - Chandu Mia Para, Shahbazpur, Sarail, Brahmanbaria. The allegations made against me and my family members Monowara Begum (45), Anjufa Begum (38), Rimon Rashid (26), Janab Ali (70) and Achia Begum (41) in the published news are outright false. Recently, there was a family argument centering around plucking a jackfruit from our house. Centering on that trivial matter, Tanvir Rashid misbehaved with us and started recording video. When we forbade him, he got excited and created a commotion himself. This has no connection with an extramarital affair or immoral relationship. Tanvir Rashid is giving such heinous and defamatory slander against us to divert the family dispute to a different direction. We never carried out an organized attack on Tanvir Rashid nor did we go to the hospital and threaten to kill him. Achia Begum was not even present at the scene at the time of the incident, she lives in the city. She has been deliberately implicated in this incident. Moreover, the matter of the case has been presented completely one-sidedly. As this news was published without taking any statement from us, we are being socially humiliated. We strongly protest this false and fabricated news and strongly demand the authorities of Daily Nababani to publish a corrigendum to the news. At the same time, we request the administration to uncover the real truth through a fair investigation. Protesters: On behalf of Mst. Shiuly Begum, Monowara Begum, Anjufa Begum, Rimon Rashid, Janab Ali and Achia Begum - Monowara Begum Village: Chandumia Para, Union: Shahbazpur, Upazila: Sarail, District: Brahmanbaria.
