Alauddin Alo. According to local sources, Alauddin Alo, who served as the mayor of Kesharhat Municipality from 2011-2016, has been active in local politics for a long time. He is currently serving as the president of Kesharhat Municipal BNP. Recently, his active presence has been observed in party and various social programs. According to party leaders, activists and supporters, Alauddin Alo is trying to stay close to the common people through social and political activities and is playing a role in keeping the leaders and activists united. As part of this, his followers have expressed interest in seeing him as a possible candidate of BNP in the upcoming municipal elections. In this regard, according to the local politically conscious circles, although the support base of this former mayor is active at the grassroots level, the issue of final candidacy and party support will depend entirely on the decision of the BNP central and policy-making level.
