On Sunday (27 September) afternoon, 69.5 percent of land in the Raghundpur mouza of Shobha Rampur in Faridpur city was handed over through the court. At this time, the recipient who participated in the auction took possession of the land by waving a red flag and beating a drum around the land.
It is known that in 2021, due to the inability to repay a loan from Faridpur Premier Bank, 69.50 acres of land was auctioned. Later, Rubel Hossain Dulal participated in the auction and purchased 69.5 percent of the land in the Shobharampur area of the city. Although this property was previously handed over through the court, the former owner of the land later filed a case in court claiming it as his own. After a long 11 months of trial, on Sunday afternoon, the Nazir of the District Judge's Court, A K M Rofiqul Islam, handed over the possession of the auctioned land to the owners by beating drums.
