Artsem Minister Cup 2026, Uzair Hossain Sajib Wants to Be Bagerhat Icon, Dreams of Becoming the Second Hamza Choudhury.

Sports Reporter, Bagerhat. From Bagerhat, our sports reporter says a young emerging footballer has come into discussion in this year's Artsem Minister Cup Football Tournament 2026 - Uzair Hossain Sajib. Coming from a poor family, this 17-18 year old young man's position is Centre Back. He has just appeared for his HSC exam from Sharankhola Honours College, result is yet to be published. He is the captain of Sharankhola Honours College Football Team. Speaking to The Daily Bangla Sky, Sajib said, "I want to be the second Hamza Choudhury of Bangladesh. InshaAllah, we will bring the Minister Cup to Bagerhat." Not just a Centre Back, for the need of the team he can play in midfield, left wing, right wing and even during corner kicks he goes inside the opponent's D-box and scores with headers. His ability to score with headers makes him different. Expressing his sorrow, Sajib said, "If I had better training facilities, I could have become a much better footballer. I will not do a job after completing Masters, I want to be a good footballer." Through the Minister Cup he wants to bring joy to all football lovers in Bangladesh. His only wish is that BKSP and all football training centres watch his game and give him an opportunity for advanced training. In this context, The Daily Bangla Sky family draws the attention of the Honorable Prime Minister of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, the Honorable Minister of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Director of BKSP and all organizations involved with football training. If talented players like Sajib, who come from remote villages all over Bangladesh, can be selected and given advanced training, then Bangladesh football will one day bring good results on the world map. The Daily Bangla Sky family prays and wishes all the best for Uzair Hossain Sajib's dream to come true.
