Husband Recovered The Day After Wife Filed Kidnapping Case in Sherpur, 1 Arrested.

Suvo, Sherpur (Bogura) Correspondent. In Sherpur, Bogura, Sherpur Thana Police rescued a mason named Md. Sharif Sheikh (34) within 24 hours of his kidnapping. One person named Mithu Hossain has been arrested in this incident. Earlier, mason Sharif's wife, Mst. Sadia Khatun, filed a complaint at the police station as the plaintiff against 12 named persons and 7/8 more unknown persons. The accused in the complaint are: Md. Rasel Babu Himu (43) of Sherpur Town Colony, Md. Rakib (35), Md. Limon (32), Md. Sabbir (23), Md. Kamal (35), Md. Sabbir (30), Md. Nazmul (18), Md. Bulbul (35), Md. Masud (36), Md. Safi (24), Md. Rafi (24), Md. Mithu Hossain (40). According to the complaint, Sharif Sheikh, a resident of Garidaha Union of Sherpur Upazila, left his house on September 25 at around 8 PM after dinner with Md. Rezaul Kabir of his area Hamachayapur village for Hapuniya Bazar. At around 8:15 PM, when they reached in front of Md. Nahid's grocery store at Hapuniya Bazar, the accused who were lying in wait beforehand picked them up in an unknown vehicle and took them away. Later, they were kept detained in an unknown place with their eyes blindfolded with a gamcha. Although the kidnappers released Rezaul Kabir, they did not release Sharif Sheikh and his whereabouts could not be found. In this regard, Officer-in-Charge of Sherpur Thana, S Moinuddin, said, in light of the case, the kidnapped Sharif Sheikh has been recovered and one person involved has been arrested. Moreover, necessary police investigation and efforts are continuing to uncover the real mystery.
