According to local sources, suspecting that anti-social activities were going on in a rented house in Jagannathpara area of Sherpur municipal town, several local residents went there. At that time, they detained five people including a person named Mamun and informed the police. Later, the police went to the spot and brought them to the police station. However, Mamun claims that he went to that house to settle the matter. Seeing the incident there, he informed the police.
