Jubo Dal Leader Killed in Road Accident in Mirsharai.

Jewel Nag, Mirsharai,Correspondent, Chattogram. A local leader of the Bangladesh Jubo Dal was killed in a tragic road accident in Mirsharai Upazila of Chattogram on Thursday afternoon after his motorcycle reportedly lost control and collided with a truck and a pickup vehicle. The accident occurred at around 12:30 PM on July 23 in the Master Para area of Moghadia along the road leading to the National Special Economic Zone. The deceased was identified as Salauddin (40), son of the late Mohi Uddin of Banglapara village under Ward No. 4 of Saherkhali Union. He served as the Joint Secretary of the Saherkhali Union Jubo Dal. According to local residents, Salauddin was returning from the Mirsharai Economic Zone on his motorcycle when the accident took place near the Muslim Chattar in Master Para, adjacent to Abu Torab Bazar. Witnesses said the speeding motorcycle lost control and became trapped between a Seven Rings Cement truck and a double-cabin pickup belonging to Chattogram Online Internet, which was heading toward the Mirsharai Economic Zone. Salauddin died on the spot due to the severe impact of the collision. SM Sumon, Chief Coordinator of Mirsharai Thana Jubo Dal, confirmed that Salauddin was serving as the Joint Secretary of the Saherkhali Union Jubo Dal. He expressed deep sorrow over the untimely death, saying the incident has cast a shadow of grief over the entire Jubo Dal family. Officer-in-Charge (OC) Farida Yasmin of Mirsharai Police Station said police reached the scene immediately after the accident, recovered the body, completed the inquest, and sent it to Chattogram Medical College Hospital for an autopsy. She added that legal proceedings regarding the incident are currently underway.
