Holy Quran is the True Guide to a Beautiful Life, CCC Mayor.

Jahangir Alam, Staff Reporter. Emphasizing the implementation of the teachings of the Holy Quran in every aspect of life, chattagram City Corporation (CCC) Mayor Dr. Shahadat Hossain stated, "The Quran is the supreme constitution for leading a beautiful and disciplined human life. There is no alternative to following the Quran and Hadith for achieving peace in this world and salvation in the hereafter." He made these remarks as the chief guest at a religious gathering organized on the occasion of Jasne Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH) and Fateha-e-Yazdaham at the city's Chamragudam intersection on Tuesday afternoon. Mayor Dr. Shahadat Hossain highlighted that the very first divine revelation laid the highest emphasis on the pursuit of knowledge and education. He added that building a welfare-oriented and harmonious society is only possible through following the principles and true teachings of Islam. Touching upon urban cleanliness and good governance, the Mayor reaffirmed his firm commitment to building a "Clean, Green, Healthy, and Safe Chattogram." Reminding the audience of civic duties, he said, "The road has its own specific rights. It is a social and moral responsibility to remove garbage, banana peels, or anything harmful to pedestrians from the pathways." He urged residents to dispose of waste in designated dustbins, stressing that establishing a clean and safe city requires active participation from general citizens and business owners, not just the City Corporation alone. Chaired by Ali Ahmed Sawdagar, the event featured principal speeches and religious discussions by Principal Mufti Osman Goni Rezvi, Allama Enam Reza Al Kaderi, and Mufti Shahidullah Bahadur. Earlier, the gathering was officially inaugurated by Kotwali Thana Youth Dal President Nur Hossain Nuru. A large number of local devout Muslims attended the event.
