Indian Assistant High Commissioner Visits Puja Mandap in Rangpur

Mohinul Islam Sujon. Indian Assistant High Commissioner to Rajshahi Manoj Kumar visited a Puja Mandap in Rangpur. Visiting Rangpur for the first time to see Durga Puja, he expressed satisfaction with the environment and arrangements. On Saturday (October 17), at noon, Manoj Kumar visited the Kali Temple in the Payra Chattar area of Rangpur city. At the time, he exchanged greetings with the leaders of the Durga Puja Celebration Committee. Later, he toured the temple premises and inquired about the overall arrangements for the puja. Expressing satisfaction with the festive atmosphere and arrangements, the Indian Assistant High Commissioner said, “I had never visited before, so I thought I would visit Rangpur and see how the puja is celebrated. After coming here, I found it very good. The puja is being celebrated in a cordial atmosphere. I extend my Sharadiya greetings to everyone.” Leaders of the Sanatan religion in Rangpur were present at the time.
